Waterworks

Spent the morning at the Waterworks - the weather remained the same but there was a noticable drop in temperature.  Still felt really pleasant in the sun.

Highlights were my first Wigeon of the autumn with three on Bed 18 and at least seven Snipe on Bed 16.  A minimum of four Goldcrest were seen around the reserve with a group of three just beyond the end of the fenceline.  An adult Peregrine was an amazing sight as it flew low and settled on one of the pylons as was a Kingfisher that shot past me toward the water bodies.

A total count of 20 Meadow Pipit flew east.
